Dr Nadia Nuru (f) MBBS, iBSc, DRCOG, MRCGP GP Partner Dr Nuru qualified from Kings College London in 2014 and has completed her GP training in the Northwest. She has a keen interest in Womens health and is the lead for Palliative Care within the surgery. |
Dr Syed Ali (m) MBBS, MRCGP GP Partner Dr Ali qualified from the Czech Republic in 2010 and trained as a GP in the Staffordshire area in 2017. He has an interest in Mental health. |
Dr Ahmed Tambal (m) MBBS, MRCGP Salaried GP Dr Tambal qualified from Sudan in 2002 and completed his GP training in Staffordshire in 2020. |
Nursing Team
Louise Garbett (f) Nurse Practitioner Our nurse practitioner works alongside our GPs. She can clinically assess, diagnose, refer and treat patients who present with undiagnosed problems. Patients who present with acute conditions, minor health problems or infections may be offered an appointment to see the nurse practitioner. She will also see patients who need medication reviewing and prescribing, to review treatment and care plans and to manage patients presenting with long-term health conditions such as diabetes, asthma and COPD. |
Helen Chave (f) SRN, BSc (Hons) Practice Nurse Our practice nurse sees patients by appointment to support the management of long term conditions such as asthma, diabetes and COPD. To promote healthy lifestyles. To provide family planning, cytology screening, childhood immunisations and seasonal and holiday vaccinations. She is also available to see patients who require removal of sutures and wound care. |
Emma Woolley (f) Healthcare Assistant Our Healthcare Assistant works alongside our clinical team seeing patients by appointment to promote a healthy lifestyle and support them with the management of any long term conditions. She will be available for blood tests, blood pressure checks, wound care, seasonal vaccinations such as flu and Covid. Our HCA will also support patient with learning disabilities, those who are carers and the frail and elderly. |
Practice Team
Mrs Gill Harper-Potts (f) Practice Manager The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. |

The receptionist team are the first point of contact for patients either in person or by telephone. They are trained in signposting and are able to advise patients on the most suitable clinician or service for them to see. |

Healthcare Team
Community Nurses
District Nurses are available to see you in your home or in the clinic and help with dressings and removal of sutures, advice and care of the acutely and chronically sick and terminally ill and advice on incontinence and supplying pads and other aids. They can be contacted on 01543 334600. |
Health Visitors
Health Visitors can be contacted on 01543 879787. They are available to help with health matters relating to the under-5’s (e.g. feeding difficulties, sleep problems). Baby Clinics are offered at various locations in the area. |
